We create an innovative oil soluble ingredients line standardized in Astaxanthin and TCC, that can be used in formulations or as a stand-alone product, as this is a highly potent ingredient. We carefully extracted all beneficial lipophilic constituents from plant, super-seeds and algae material such as some volatile molecules, triacyl-glycerides, tocopherols and tocotrienols, phytosterols and carotenoids. The term Super-seeds is used for some seeds, nuts or kernels, from specific botanical species, that contain a highly valued oil, with a healthy fatty acids profile and bioactive molecules in its composition. Microalgae is cultured through an advanced biotechnology patented method to produce high content of ketocarotenoid astaxanthin. This unique lipophilic molecule has several health benefits, scientific evidence and also clinical studies. Astaxanthin has GRAS status by FDA. It is known as the strongest antioxidant found in nature.
Astaxanthin rich oil is extracted from microalgae cracked cells biomass using a proprietary technologically advanced CO2 SCF extraction method.
It can be compared to a liquid-liquid extraction using a super-seed oil as co-solvent. Liquid mixtures and chemically closely molecules are efficiently separated by supercritical fluid fractionation.
